Recycling plastic can be tricky. Look on the bottom of each plastic item before you throw it out and find the number inside of the triangle. Most recycling facilities take only #1 and #2 plastics, but call ahead to see if your facility takes #3 - #7. If your facility does not take #3 - #7 plastics try reusing those containers or send them to the landfill. Remember to rinse out all plastic items you bring to the recycling facility.
